Is chivalry sexist?

noelanthony:

What I’m fruit to say is fuck that guy for making me let girls cut in line. BITCH IT’S A LINE. THERE IS A PRIORITY GIVEN TO PEOPLE WHO WERE WAITING REGARDLESS OF GENDER.

Motherfucker YOU’RE MAKING ME LATE FOR MY YOGA CLASS

I don’t think chivalry is inherently sexist, but the attitudes that tend to go along with it are. Also, the definition of chivalry doesn’t necessarily limit it to situations involving opposing genders.
